MY BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU INSTRUCTOR AND MENTOR
After spending a few years absorbing and training his online content, I reached out to Roy Dean in 2014. He invited me to visit and train at his school in Bend, Oregon. From that initial meeting I'd become his student and eight years later he'd promote me to black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Out of Roy Dean's many talents, his ability to tell a story via video as it relates to Jiu-Jitsu is one that resonates with people the world over. Over the last decade I've had the opportunity to be a part of several video projects both Roy Dean and Rick Ellis (Roy Dean black belt) have done. I'm honored to have been a part of them.
